What is your photography and film style?

We combine a mixture of natural, elegant, storytelling with a romantic approach, to unobtrusively capture and film your special day.   We look for those natural moments and authentic expressions, to ensure your wedding day story and memories are preserved through our images and videos for years to come.   Every wedding we capture is unique, and we take a bespoke approach to every couples day.   For the photos of you as a couple and with guests, we offer a very gentle approach to directing you, to ensure you are feeling completely relaxed and comfortable in front of the lens.   Our philosophy is to spot different angles & creative perspectives, without disrupting the natural flow and order of your wedding.   We know we are doing it right, when you and your guests forget we are there and we can capture those truly genuine expressions.

Question 2

How many photos can we expect to receive?

Accepted Answer

Dependant on your coverage and guest numbers, you can expect to receive anything from 700 - 900 photographs from us, supplied within an online password gallery and on a keepsake usb.

Question 3

Do you edit and enhance our photos prior to delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we edit and enhance each photo individually (in house) from your wedding.   We know that you want to see yourself looking at your absolute best in your wedding photos, as you did on the day!   To achieve this, we look for beautiful lighting and flattering angles on the actual day itself, followed by editing and styling after your wedding, using editing/retouching software such as Photoshop and Lightroom.   The editing process is just as important as taking the photos, as this is where we can individually style and enhance your images, prior to delivery.   And if you have a temporary mark or blemish (hopefully not!) on yourself or outfits, do not worry! We can use our editing magic to make them disappear completely, without a trace.   Each image edited will be in the Noteworthy style and bespoke to your wedding day feel and vibe.

Question 4

Do you edit and enhance our video footage?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we edit and enhance both your full day video footage and highlights (in house).    We fully edit your videos and sound files from your day, with software such as Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, to ensure your films are delivered at their best quality.    The editing process is just as important as filming on the day, as this is where we can individually style and enhance footage captured, ready for delivery to you.

Can we print, share and download our photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your photos will be delivered as hi-resolution JPEG files on a USB, as well as online, within a password protected gallery.   On this online gallery guests can access, download and view your photographs.   All images are with full online & printing rights, without watermarks.

Question 6

What are the benefits of having video coverage of our day?

Accepted Answer

Photographs do tell the story of your day, but with the addition of videography, every emotion and part of your wedding is captured and brought to life in film.   You may miss certain parts of your day due to being so busy, whereas you can see a video and watch the 'behind the scenes', so you don't miss a thing.   Film also captures all your family members and guests in moving imagery with sound, creating memories that you can watch over and over again for years to come and share with future generations.   With videography you can relive your day over and over again.

How long is our wedding film or do we just receive highlights?

We believe that your wedding day film should include not only the best moments of your day, but your whole wedding day story with sound!   With us, you receive both a video highlights (similar to a film trailer around 3-5 minutes) set to a song of your choice and a full day documentary film.   The highlights are edited and synchronised to your choice of song and vows, creating a cinematic film to share with family and friends.   The documentary film of your entire day is around 60+ minutes in length and includes your ceremony, speeches, first dance and cake cutting filmed in full, with sound as recorded.   This means you can relive your dream day all over again forever!

Can we select a song of our choice for our video?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can select a song of your choice.   All music included within your wedding day film and highlights is fully licensed by the The MCPS/PRS Limited Manufacture License.   This is purchased for each individual film from PRS music: https://www.prsformusic.com.   This is included within your wedding day package at no extra cost to you. ​

How much coverage do we require?

All our package collections include full day coverage, but we can offer bespoke coverage to suit your wedding day needs.    For example a typical full day wedding coverage usually includes -    * 2 hours coverage of you getting ready  * Ceremony  * Portraits  * Sit down (entertainment/announced into the room)  * Speeches  * Cake cut * 30 minutes after your first dance   However, if you wanted, we can provide coverage of any part of your day from just ceremony to portrait coverage, or half day coverage.    Just let us know your requirements and we can provide you with a personalised quote.

How do we book with you?

Thank you so much, we feel so privileged that you are considering choosing us to capture one of the most important days of you life and we can't wait to hear your wedding plans so far!   The first step is to contact us via our website or email, to check our availability for your wedding date.   Each year we shoot a limited number of weddings, to ensure we can put our full attention and heart into every booking, providing an amazing bespoke service.   We often get booked up especially for summer dates, around 1–2 years in advance. If you’d like us to capture your wedding please get in touch as soon as possible.   Once we have confirmed we are available on your date, we can communicate via email or phone/video call, to discuss any questions you may have.   If you would like to proceed with booking us (super amazing!), we then send you a link to our online booking form for you to complete.   We also ask for a non-refundable booking fee of £200 to secure your date with us.   On receipt of your booking form and deposit, we then send you our online welcome pack and confirmation of booking.   The countdown to us capturing your day can truly begin, super exciting!

Can we meet with you prior to booking?

Selecting your photographer and videographer is a huge step in your wedding planning and we understand that you may have questions and want to ensure you are choosing the best person to capture your day for you.    For this reason we are always happy to arrange a chat on the phone or video consultation with you both, to say 'hi' and introduce ourselves.    Most our previous couples have felt that our website, emails and calls have provided enough information for them to book with us.    We receive many enquiries each week and with our commitments and aim to provide an excellent service to all our current couples, there just is not enough time in a week to physically meet and travel to everyone unfortunately.    So if you would like to talk more and arrange a phone or video call with us, please get in touch and we will get you in the diary for a chat!

Question 12

Can we meet with you both prior to our wedding day?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course. We usually get in touch with you around 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding day, to book an optional video call or phone consultation.   Around this time, your venue has usually finalised all the details for your day with you, meaning this is the perfect time for us to go over your coverage further, discuss timings in more detail and get to know each other a little better.   If you are camera shy or would like to meet with us physically, we do offer engagement shoot sessions. This is the perfect chance to get you feeling relaxed in front of the lens and also give you some lovely photos of you both.    If you still wish to meet physically prior to your day and if your venue is local to us (DA11), we can also arrange to meet at your wedding venue.

Question 13

Can we have both partners 'getting ready' preparations captured?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we capture both couples preparations if you are getting ready at the same location (i.e hotel, wedding venue).    If you are getting ready in two different places, we can provide coverage at an additional cost if logistically possible.

What personalities do you both have?

Accepted Answer

Our previous couples have described us as very friendly, relaxed and fun to be around on their wedding day. Keeping them calm and being super organised, efficient and professional without being bossy and demanding. We like to strike a bond with you both prior to and on your wedding day, to ensure you feel as relaxed and comfortable with us as possible.    We want you to see us as potential friends and many of our couples stay in touch with us long after their wedding day, which is so lovely.   We have often become their family photographer for their new arrivals (babies and fur babies), children and extended family.

How do we know if you are the right people to capture our day?

There are so many amazing people in our industry to choose from, so we always feel so privileged and blessed when a couple makes an enquiry or books with us.    When it comes to your wedding day, your photos and videos become your lasting, treasured and timeless memories from your day.   It is so important to select someone you feel not only comfortable around, but whose work and style appeals and fits with you.    If you like wedding photos and films that are un-candid, very traditional (i.e looking directly at the camera in all shots or not sincere in expression) or dark and moody, then we are more than likely not the photographer and videographer for you.    We try to avoid shooting anything to staged and overly posed, as our style is very natural, romantic and bright.   Your photographer and videographer will be around you throughout your whole day (even more so than some of your guests) so it is super important for you to feel comfortable around them and their personality fits with you both. Question 16

Are you fully insured and hold public liability insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are fully insured for PLI cover up to £5 million.   We also have indemnity insurance.   Please get in touch if your venue requires proof of our insurance.

Question 17

What happens if our wedding day is cancelled?

Accepted Answer

After booking with us and agreeing to our terms and conditions, the booking fee of £200 is non-refundable. This is to cover your date being held for you, as well as our time/admin etc.    However, if you cancel your wedding, the outstanding balance is not payable.   We do not charge any cancellation fees, as we feel it is hard enough for our couples to unfortunately have to cancel their wedding day, without being hit with any outstanding fees.

Question 18

What happens if you are unable to attend our day?

If you like wedding photos and films that are un-candid, very traditional (i.e looking directly at the camera in all shots or not sincere in expression) or dark and atmospheric, then we are more than likely not the photographer and videographer for you.    This is such a horrible thought for us (the sheer thought of this causes us anxiety).   Since we began the business back in 2013, we have never ever let a couple down.    However, in the very unforeseen circumstance we are unable to attend, we work alongside other photo/videographers in the industry who we know very well and who have the same professionalism and accreditations as ourselves.   We would take the most appropriate course of attention to send them as our replacement. However, remember there are two of us, so the likelihood of us both being unavailable to attend your wedding is highly unlikely.    If it is not possible to get another photographer/videographer to cover your day due to them being fully booked and every method of gaining cover has been accessed, we of course will refund you your full outstanding balance along with the booking fee.    But believe us, this would be a very very last resort and we would do everything and anything in our power, to not allow this to happen.

Question 19

Can we upgrade our coverage with you both?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course you can.    Once you have booked with us, we are fully committed to your wedding date and booking.    This means you can upgrade your coverage to include albums, video coverage or extra coverage time, it is totally up to you.    All we ask is that you inform of us of any changes to coverage within 4-6 weeks of your wedding day.

Can we choose the photographs we would like captured?

Accepted Answer

At our pre-wedding consultation via video call or phone, we can discuss any specific or sentimental photos you would love captured.   We always ensure the photographs you would love captured are taken, creating those treasured memories for you to look back on.    This has been our full time job at Noteworthy for nearly ten years. You can put your trust in us to ensure your day is fully captured without missing moment, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day.

Question 21

How long after our wedding will we receive our photographs and how?

Accepted Answer

We aim to fully edit and supply your photographs to your online gallery within 4-8 weeks of your wedding day, this can be sooner during quieter times in the year.    You will also receive sneek previews within two days of your wedding, uploaded to our social media, for you to share with family and friends.    Once you have received your password gallery link, we will then post your images to you on a keepsake USB.

Question 22

How long after our wedding will we receive our highlights and full day film?

Accepted Answer

We aim to fully edit and supply your wedding day film online, within 8 - 10 weeks of your wedding day, this can be sooner during quieter times in the year. You will also receive your online wedding highlights around this time.    Within two days of your wedding day, we upload a 5 second 'teaser' clip for you to share with family and friends.    Once you have received your online films, we then send you your HD edited videos on USB, to allow you to watch your wedding day film at home on your smart tv, pc or console.

Do you capture the traditional group photos?

Yes, ​we know these photos are very important to not only the wedding couple, but to your family and friends.    It isn’t that often everyone is together to capture these precious photographs, especially when everyone is dressed to impress!   When we do set up the group portraits, we do this in a very discreet, friendly and efficient manner. We aim to make your photos look as natural as possible, even when arranged by us.    Let’s face it, no one wants to spend forever waiting to have their photo taken, they want to enjoy and celebrate your amazing day.

Do you have multi-camera coverage with your videography coverage?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with both our combined and video coverage, the ceremony and speeches are filmed using two multi-camera set ups.    This provides two angles of your day, which when edited, enables you to gain two perspectives.

Question 26

Does the full day video include spoken audio?

Accepted Answer

Yes it does.   The ceremony, speeches, first dance and cake cut are filmed fully with sound and audio as captured.    The sound elements of your film are fully edited within audio software (Logic Pro), to provide the best quality possible.   Lapel microphones are also used for the ceremony, to ensure your vows are heard clearly.

Is our wedding video footage supplied in HD or 4K?

Accepted Answer

Our video cameras film in both 4K and HD 1080p as standard. 
 Your full day film with be uploaded in both 4K and HD, along with your highlights.   When you receive your full day USB, you can inform us of which format you would prefer your film to be supplied in, dependant on your media equipment.

How do you dress on the day?

We believe that what we wear says something about us, how we take pride in our work, and how important your wedding day is to us. We both dress formally and smart, in a suit jacket and trousers.

Question 29

What if it rains on our wedding day?

Accepted Answer

We know you want the perfect day and weather and rain can be a concern, but if it does get a little rainy, please don't worry.    If the weather eases we can use this time to get your portraits outdoors, alternatively we can arrange a suitable area indoors for guest photos if you would prefer.    With regards to rain for the bride and groom shots, we always bring white photographic umbrellas and use creative portable flash units, enabling us to still capture some fantastic photographs of you both whilst keeping you nice and dry!    We can even find some indoor locations such as walls and staircases, for some beautiful elegant portraits of you both.

Do you only cover the South East?

We mainly capture weddings in Kent & London, the borders of Surrey and Sussex.    We do also cover the whole of the UK, but at an additional cost, please contact us for more information.

Have you captured weddings at our venue before?

Accepted Answer

We have shot at hundreds of wedding venues across Kent and the South East over the past ten years, so there is a really good chance that we have.    However, if we have not, we will get to your venue early on the day and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best locations.   We also do extensive online research of all venues prior to capturing your day. ​ ​
